I already told you that Daniel and I had the most incredible afternoon tea on Sunday. I read about this particular afternoon tea on My Gingerbread Journey and instantly knew that I'd have to go. So, selfless that I am, I got it for Daniel for our anniversary. Yeah I'm a pretty sweet girlfriend (he's not a bad boyfriend either though, he got me the tickets to go see "The curious incident of the dog in the nighttime").

Anyway. It was amazing. And definitely a lot posher than I had anticipated. When we were charged a pound at the end for something street (which turned out to be a charitable thing), I thought it might have been because we weren't dressed chic enough - hah. So as the description of this afternoon tea said, we tumbled down the rabbit hole at this mad hatters tea at the Sanderson hotel (just off Oxford Street). I've decided that I don't want to tell you to much, because I want there to be surprises if you do decide to go for it yourself :) It's not the cheapest, but in my humble opinion worth every penny!

Here are some more photos :)

How I like to spend my Sunday Afternoons.

Sunday, 3 November 2013

Hej. How's everybody doing? You know I'd actually like to know, so if you'd like to have a chat about how things are going, just comment. Today I had the bestest bestest afternoon. It was such a beautiful crisp (by that I mean freezing, but that was my fault, it was a beautiful sunny day, I just wasn't dressed appropriately) afternoon, and it was spent wandering around London, hanging out in a pretty cool coffee shop (no, not cool in a holland kinda way, just you know nice) and followed by the most exquisite afternoon tea (which deserves its own post, so I won't get into that today). I love sitting in caf├ęs, just chatting away and taking photos of Daniel with his cards. It's definitely been the bestest afternoon I've had in a while, the perfect way to end the weekend, so I thought I'd share it. And remember, the best bit is still to come, the afternoon tea was a.m.a.z.i.n.g, I'll post about it as soon as I can.
